Role Overview:
As a Sales Engineer at Foundation AI, you will be at the forefront of our growth strategy—as you will be the technical liaison between our prospective customers and our internal teams. Focused on law firms, you’ll engage directly with decision-makers and demonstrate our platform's unique value. You will collaborate with account executives, delivery teams, and product to ensure successful implementations and help us stay at the forefront of legal tech by providing feedback from prospects. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys tech, talking with customers (without having to own the sale process), and is driven by delivering impactful solutions to customers.
What You’ll Do:
- Solution Consultation: You will work alongside account executives to identify customer needs, pain points, and workflows to best configure our demo and product to their needs.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct compelling product demos that articulate the value proposition and capabilities of our platform
- Technical Expertise: Serve as the go-to expert on Foundation AI solutions - answering technical questions and guiding customers through best practices
- Educate and Influence: Clearly communicate Foundation AI’s value proposition, conducting presentations and product demos that resonate with plaintiff-focused firms.
- Travel Strategically: Attend key industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build your presence and deepen relationships. Periodically visit prospects in person to strengthen connections and drive conversions.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with delivery and product to ensure smooth handoffs and implementations while providing feedback from prospects to influence product roadmap and fit.
- Leverage Data and CRM: Diligently track your notes from demos in Hubspot
What We’re Looking For:
- Excellent Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences and convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Legal Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with personal injury litigation workflows and case management systems is a plus but not required. Experience as an ex-employee of a law firm is encouraged.
- Coachability: Willing to dig in and learn about the legal industry and AI technology. You can take constructive criticism and are open to learning new ways to communicate and demo solutions based on feedback.
- Consultative Mindset: Skilled at conducting thorough discovery, understanding customer pain points, and customizing presentations to align with buyer needs.
